The course integrates national development financing, fiscal strategy, public financial management, macroeconomic policy, fiscal sustainability, domestic resource mobilization, public investment management, debt management, infrastructure financing, public-private partnerships (PPPs), taxation policy, medium-term expenditure frameworks, budget planning, sovereign wealth management, development economics, results-based budgeting, economic governance, financial risk management, monitoring and evaluation, and sustainable development financing to improve fiscal resilience, accelerate economic growth, strengthen public institutions, and support long-term national prosperity. Participants will acquire practical competencies to formulate fiscal strategies, mobilize financing, strengthen budget execution, manage public debt, and implement effective national financing frameworks.

Governments face increasing fiscal pressures arising from economic uncertainty, climate change, global financial volatility, infrastructure deficits, demographic shifts, and growing demand for quality public services. Sustainable national development requires diversified financing sources, prudent fiscal policies, efficient public expenditure management, transparent financial governance, and effective coordination between government institutions, development partners, and private investors. This National Development Financing and Fiscal Strategy Training Course provides internationally recognized fiscal governance frameworks, financing models, macroeconomic planning methodologies, and practical implementation strategies that strengthen fiscal discipline, improve public investment efficiency, and support sustainable economic transformation.

Participants will develop practical expertise in fiscal policy formulation, national budget planning, domestic revenue mobilization, tax policy reforms, sovereign borrowing strategies, debt sustainability analysis, public investment management, infrastructure financing, climate finance, blended finance, development partner coordination, public-private partnerships, expenditure management, financial risk assessment, macroeconomic forecasting, fiscal monitoring, stakeholder engagement, and strategic policy implementation. The course combines global best practices with practical public sector applications to improve financial governance, optimize resource allocation, strengthen fiscal resilience, and enhance national development outcomes.

Through fiscal strategy laboratories, macroeconomic simulations, budget planning exercises, debt sustainability assessments, investment appraisal workshops, financing negotiations, public expenditure reviews, infrastructure financing case analyses, policy formulation sessions, and comprehensive practical case studies, participants will strengthen their ability to formulate sustainable fiscal policies, mobilize development financing, strengthen public financial management systems, improve national investment planning, enhance fiscal accountability, and support inclusive economic growth. Upon successful completion, participants will possess the strategic leadership, financial management, governance, analytical, policy, and institutional competencies required to successfully manage national development financing and fiscal strategy initiatives.
