Participants will acquire practical competencies in governance systems, strategic planning, board oversight, performance management, policy implementation, stakeholder engagement, and organizational transformation through practical workshops, executive simulations, and real-world governance case studies.

State corporations and parastatals play a critical role in delivering essential public services, implementing national development policies, managing strategic public assets, and driving economic growth. Increasing public expectations, regulatory reforms, digital transformation, fiscal constraints, and global governance standards require these institutions to adopt robust governance structures, strengthen accountability systems, improve operational efficiency, and promote transparency. This Advanced Governance for State Corporations and Parastatals Training Course provides participants with practical tools, governance models, and leadership strategies for improving institutional performance, strengthening board oversight, managing strategic risks, enhancing compliance, and fostering sustainable organizational excellence.

Participants will develop practical expertise in corporate governance principles, board governance, executive leadership, public financial management, enterprise risk management, internal controls, compliance management, strategic planning, organizational performance measurement, digital governance, public procurement oversight, stakeholder engagement, monitoring and evaluation, and institutional reform. The course integrates international best practices in public sector governance, OECD governance principles, risk-based management, performance improvement, and innovation to enable state corporations and parastatals to achieve operational excellence while maintaining public trust and regulatory compliance.

Through governance diagnostics, board simulations, strategic planning workshops, enterprise risk assessments, performance review exercises, audit committee simulations, policy implementation laboratories, executive coaching sessions, and comprehensive case studies, participants will strengthen their ability to lead governance reforms, improve institutional accountability, optimize resource utilization, strengthen board performance, enhance organizational resilience, and implement sustainable governance systems.
