The Leadership Planning for Social Protection Training Course is a comprehensive professional development program designed to equip leaders, managers, policymakers, program coordinators, and development professionals with the strategic leadership knowledge and practical planning skills required to strengthen social protection systems and improve service delivery. The program integrates internationally recognized leadership and management frameworks including Transformational Leadership, Adaptive Leadership, Situational Leadership, Servant Leadership, Results-Based Management (RBM), Theory of Change (ToC), Balanced Scorecard (BSC), Logical Framework Approach (Logframe), ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems, ISO 31000 Risk Management, OECD Public Governance Principles, COSO Enterprise Risk Management Framework, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Human-Centered Design, and Public Sector Governance Frameworks. Participants will gain practical skills in strategic planning, leadership development, institutional governance, program planning, stakeholder coordination, organizational performance improvement, and sustainable leadership for social protection initiatives.

Throughout the course, participants will utilize modern planning and management tools including Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Visio, SharePoint, Tableau, GIS dashboards, monitoring and evaluation platforms, project management software, knowledge management systems, collaboration platforms, digital reporting tools, document management systems, and performance management dashboards. Practical exercises include leadership assessments, strategic planning workshops, stakeholder mapping, risk analysis, performance measurement, institutional capacity assessments, succession planning, and program implementation planning.

Through facilitator-led presentations, practical workshops, collaborative group work, leadership simulations, organizational planning exercises, social protection program assessments, policy discussions, and real-world case studies, participants will strengthen their ability to provide strategic leadership, improve governance, manage organizational change, enhance institutional effectiveness, strengthen stakeholder collaboration, and deliver sustainable social protection programs that improve the lives of vulnerable populations.
