Participants will gain practical competencies to evaluate change initiatives, measure organizational performance, strengthen institutional capacity, improve staff engagement, enhance program effectiveness, and support sustainable humanitarian operations.

Humanitarian organizations operate in increasingly complex environments characterized by emergencies, displacement, climate change, conflict, donor accountability, digital transformation, evolving regulations, funding uncertainties, and rapidly changing community needs. Successful organizational transformation requires structured change management processes supported by robust evaluation systems that measure implementation progress, organizational readiness, stakeholder engagement, operational performance, and long-term impact. Effective evaluation enables humanitarian organizations to identify lessons learned, improve change strategies, optimize resource utilization, strengthen governance, and achieve sustainable organizational transformation. This course provides practical guidance on change management frameworks, evaluation methodologies, organizational diagnostics, performance measurement, data-driven decision-making, leadership development, communication strategies, and institutional learning.

The course emphasizes international best practices in Prosci Change Management, Kotter's Eight-Step Change Model, ADKAR Model, Results-Based Management (RBM), Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), OECD DAC Evaluation Criteria, Sphere Humanitarian Standards, Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS), ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems, ISO 31000 Risk Management, Balanced Scorecard, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), organizational development, business continuity management, and continuous organizational improvement. Through practical workshops, simulations, collaborative learning, evaluation exercises, and humanitarian case studies, participants will strengthen their ability to evaluate organizational change initiatives, improve institutional performance, strengthen accountability, and promote organizational resilience.

Upon successful completion of this course, participants will possess the practical skills required to establish integrated change management evaluation systems that improve organizational effectiveness, strengthen leadership, enhance stakeholder engagement, support evidence-based decision-making, improve humanitarian program delivery, and promote sustainable institutional transformation. They will be equipped to integrate change management, evaluation frameworks, governance, digital technologies, risk management, and continuous improvement into humanitarian organizations to achieve long-term organizational excellence.
