Course Overview

The Migration Crisis Management Training Course is designed to equip humanitarian professionals, government officials, migration practitioners, emergency responders, border management agencies, development organizations, and civil society actors with the knowledge, practical skills, and strategic competencies required to effectively prepare for, respond to, and manage migration crises. Increasing migration triggered by armed conflict, political instability, natural disasters, climate change, environmental degradation, pandemics, and economic shocks demands coordinated, rights-based, and evidence-driven approaches that protect the safety, dignity, and well-being of affected populations. This course provides comprehensive training in Migration Crisis Management, humanitarian response, migration governance, forced displacement management, refugee protection, internally displaced persons (IDP) response, humanitarian coordination, protection mainstreaming, Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP), emergency preparedness, humanitarian information management, disaster risk reduction, migration data management, and community resilience to strengthen crisis preparedness, emergency response, recovery, and sustainable development outcomes.
