Maritime Transport and Port Management is a comprehensive professional training course designed to equip participants with the knowledge, practical skills, and strategic competencies required to manage maritime transport operations, port facilities, shipping logistics, cargo handling systems, and international maritime trade efficiently. As over 80% of global trade by volume is transported through maritime routes, effective maritime transport and port management are critical for economic growth, international trade competitiveness, supply chain resilience, and sustainable development. This course provides participants with a comprehensive understanding of maritime logistics, port operations, shipping management, marine safety, maritime regulations, and international trade facilitation.

The course explores key areas including maritime transport systems, port administration, terminal operations, cargo management, shipping logistics, maritime law, vessel operations, port security, customs procedures, marine environmental management, and maritime risk management. Participants will gain practical insights into how ports function as strategic gateways for international trade and how efficient port management contributes to reducing logistics costs, improving cargo throughput, enhancing customer service, and supporting national and regional economic development. The training emphasizes operational excellence, safety compliance, sustainability, and digital transformation within maritime and port environments.

Participants will develop competencies in port planning, maritime logistics coordination, shipping operations management, cargo handling optimization, port performance measurement, maritime security management, environmental compliance, and maritime risk assessment.
