Course Overview

The Urban Humanitarian Response Training Course is designed to equip humanitarian professionals, emergency response practitioners, government agencies, urban planners, and development organizations with the knowledge and practical skills required to effectively prepare for, respond to, and recover from humanitarian emergencies in urban environments. Rapid urbanization, population growth, informal settlements, climate change, public health emergencies, displacement, conflict, infrastructure failures, and natural disasters have significantly increased humanitarian risks in cities.
